Clamp on ultrasonic flowmeters

Industrial Automations
Flowmeters

The flow rate values are determined by the difference between the travel times of ultrasonic waves propagating in the measured liquid in and against the flow direction. It is called the transit-time principle. The measuring is independent of electrically conductive of measured fluid. Moreover the ultrasonic transducers are clamped on to the outside of the pipe so it is not necessary to cut pipes or stop flow for installation and there is no pressure loss. The scope of application for ultrasonic flow meters covers many functions in practically all industry lines. The main advantages:

Clamped on to the outside of the pipe – no pipe interruptionNo pressure lossIndependent of electrically conductive of measured fluidDimensions DN13 ÷ DN6000Configuration of flow meter via PCUSB data transfer (UFP-20)Pipe thickness measuring (UFP-20)
